We decided that New Year this year would be very special to us, so being a bit selfish we deserted all our family and friends and celebrated it in Paris. We had a truely wonderful time, visiting places we not seen for many years. Spent New Year's Eve on the Champs Elysees, although we did get back to our hotel before life got too crazy there and raised a glass to 2010 with strangers (one of whom was incredibly drunk and admitted that he had just smashed up his hotel bathroom ....we quickly waved a goodbye to him...he was seriously scary!)
The incredible snow we had the first week of the month stopped me meeting with my 5K gang from school, but luckily we got together at the end of the month.
